Grand Canyon, Sedona & Scottsdale Painting Trip
The hundred-degree days are gone until next year! The colors that stay the same yet somehow look different every fall are popping every day.
Last Sunday the plein air painters gathered to paint the canyon with water still running in the streams. The week before that I traveled with a dear painting friend to paint at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. From there we headed to the beautiful red dirt of Sedona, AZ, and then painted again at the entrance of Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Enjoy the photos—and come join us for First Friday at Arts in the Sunset, tomorrow (November 6) from 5–9 pm.
Also, my paintings will be on display at a special event this Saturday:
Chris Johnson is hosting an art show and silent auction to raise money for the Eveline Rivers Project.
When: Saturday, November 8, 5–8 pm
Where: Chris Johnson’s studio, 4310-R S. Western St, Amarillo, TX 79109
(Same shopping center as Against the Wall)
Please stop by, check out the show, and bring some friends!
