Pointing to the Light: Come See Me at Sunset In the ARTS Tonight
June 5, 2026·2 min read
I’d love for you to join me at **Sunset In the ARTS** tomorrow evening from **5:00 PM to 9:00 PM**.
Admission is completely free, and you can enjoy live music and fresh popcorn while you’re there. This event also marks the premiere of my new show, *Upward*.
**Look for my booth featuring a cow skull adorned with crystals** — that’s where you’ll find me!
**A Note on the Title**
“Pointing to the Light” is the name I wish I had used. Have you ever thought of the perfect thing to say… *after* the moment has passed?
The world is full of beauty, and one of my goals is to help you experience some of the same beauty I’m lucky enough to see every day.
### Recent Adventures
This month I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the **Plein Air convention in Branson, Missouri**, surrounded by incredibly talented artists from all over the world.
I’m also back to painting with my friends once a month in the breathtaking **Palo Duro Canyon**. There’s nothing quite like capturing that stunning scenery.
In addition, I’ve enrolled in an intensive **Chrome Art training** program. I’ve been painting several hours every day this week, and I’m thrilled by how much I’m learning. The program runs for a couple of semesters, and I can’t wait to absorb everything it has to offer!
### Life on the Farm
For those who follow me on Facebook, the ducklings are doing great! They’ve learned to come into the greenhouse each evening so we can safely lock them up for the night. We also have another mother duck sitting on a dozen eggs, so we’ll hopefully have another batch of ducklings soon.
The recent rain has been a wonderful blessing. Our garden is thriving — the corn is already a couple of feet tall, and we have tomatoes and all kinds of peppers growing strong. You can look forward to several new sunflower paintings in the near future as those are blooming beautifully too.
I’m really looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night! Come say hello, enjoy the music and snacks, and celebrate art with us.
See you soon! 🎨
