October has been a very color filled month with a class in the fall colors of New Mexico with great artists Qiang Huang who was born in Beijing, China and has lived in the US for 40 years. He earned a PhD in physics and has studied color for many years.




The garden has been put to rest for winter, the Howard farm pumpkin patch has brightened up western street and the temperature is cooling off as we slip into autumn I want to take a paint brush and create something to share with you on every corner. Three of our grandchildren added another year during this month with one of them obtaining the teens coveted driving permit.
I was blessed to spend time with a friend Cecelia Cox, from my past who is now riding and showing dressage horses and my friend from Colorado joined me in Santa Fe for the painting workshop.

Friday Night Art Walk – Arts in the Sunset
I’ll be sharing some of my Plein Aire paintings I had the pleasure of painting in Santa Fe last week at the First Friday Art Walk at Arts in the Sunset this Friday, November 7th, This is a fantastic art walk to attend, as it features a costume contest and plenty of fun activities.
