Friday Night Art Walk – Arts in the Sunset
I’ll be sharing some of my Plein Aire paintings I had the pleasure of painting in Santa Fe last week at the First Friday Art Walk at Arts in the Sunset this Friday, October 3rd, This is a fantastic art walk to attend, as it features a costume contest and plenty of fun activities.

Last Saturday, we had the WhooDoo celebration, where talented artists from all over the region came together to create stunning murals on our building. We had mural painters and graffiti artists showcasing their incredible skills. So, if you’re in the area, take a drive around the center and admire the beautiful new walls adorned with individual artworks.
If you’re interested in taking a class with me, please let me know. I’m considering offering a Thursday evening class for beginners. Remember, it’s all about having fun, and I don’t allow comparisons between your work and others’. We’ll explore basic art principles in a fun and creative journey into the world of individual art.
For those of you who haven’t visited our halls in a while, I highly recommend attending the Route 66 Plein Aire celebration of the Mother Road. We’re celebrating the 100th anniversary of this iconic highway that stretches through New Mexico and Texas. All 85 paintings were painted on Route 66, creating a historic blend of buildings across two states. These works are available for purchase and are created by some of the top artists in the region.
Once again, thank you for being a part of my art journey. Your support helps me stay connected with you and keep you informed about what’s happening in my world.
