I have studied art almost all of my life. The influence, love, and appreciation of the rural lifestyle are evident in my work.
I paint outdoors regularly at my ranch, nestled in the headwaters of Palo Duro Canyon in Texas where my husband and I reside. Many of my friends and family spend time at our home, the Creekwood Ranch. My home contains a large studio where art has been created for over 50 years. Stone fireplaces, rock steps, and a large art library make it a warm and inviting place during a cold winter.
Horses and cattle surround us in the spring. The Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River is often the sight of my painting and my husband Tom fishing in the summer evenings. Family, friends, and all of God’s creations produce a rich pallet of creation for me to share with the world.
